1. There are multiple picnic tables throughout the park, perfect spot for a picnic lunch
2. There is a family of deer that you will almost always see during your visit
3. There are multiple parking lots throughout the park
4. The trails are shaded in the woodland areas of the park
5. The park has lots of stewardship opportunities and they have removed many invasive species
6. There is a bathroom house in the park (but not always open because of COVID-19)
7. The park and boardwalks are very well kept

Listen here, this is the best Mexican restaurant in the city. Gorditas Loli’s is only a few minutes away from Eggers Grove. We love the steak and cheese gordita, however they are all wonderful! They have some vegetarian options as well. Make sure you stop in after your hike. They are a cash only place, but have an atm inside.
