1. Coffee at Inspired
Start your morning at our favorite coffee shop. Inspired coffee is a coffee shop that has individuals in disabilities working and learning job skills as a launching pad for a future career. This place has beautiful art work on the walls, awesome coffee, and a cozy indoor fire place.
2. Hike at Paul Lange Arboretum
This is a bit of a drive from downtown Lake Geneva, but the Paul Lange Arboretum is the best hiking spot in the area. We highly suggest spending a few hours here and hiking on the Ben Dibble trail and the Ora Rice Arboretum as well. All three areas are connected and each one better than the next.
Check out our blog post focus on hiking near Delavan
3. Lunch at Mars Restaurant on Lake Como
This restaurant is the best hidden secret in the Lake Geneva area. Shhh don’t tell our secret! Make sure you sit outside. We enjoy the lunch on the patio and drinks on the beach.
4. Drinks on the Patio at Champs
Back to Lake Geneva for drinks. Champs is on Main St. in downtown Lake Geneva. They have a roof top patio in the back of the restaurant and we highly suggest this location for an afternoon beer. Most people don’t know about this because you cannot see the patio from the street.
5. Sunset Walk on the Shore Path
Did you know that there is a shore path around the entire lake? All 26 miles! Today, you will just walk a mile-or-so and turn back around. We suggest entering at point 1 by the Lake Geneva Library.
6. Dinner on the Patio at Oakfire
Next stop, dinner! Oakfire has one of the best locations in town. It faces the Lake Geneva Beach. If you love Neapolitan pizza, this is your place.
7. Ice cream at Kilwins
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! We used to go to Kilwins as children, so this place is near and dear to our heart. We love that this place has remained a staple in downtown Lake Geneva.
