1. Q’tiques Vintage & Antique Mall in McHenry

Q’tiques is a family own store that really feels like family. You’re greeted immediate as you walk in the door. There’s a show room with a variety of booth vendors as well as a giant warehouse that often has sales. Negotiations on price is always an option! Don’t let the long hallway of frames confuse you, this store is huge once you trek down that long hallway. It’s a hidden gem that we want everyone to know about. The best place to keep up with Q’tiques is by tuning in to their weekly facebook lives.


2. Oldies and Goodies in Richmond

This place is often referred to as “The Store” and we just love going here. The prices are excellent and we always find knickknacks and small furniture items here. This is a great place to find lake and cabin decor. Highly recommend! Follow them on facebook.


3. Abundance Antiques & Design in Hebron

Abundance Antiques & Design is a dream. You could get lost in this place for hours. The owners have been restoring antiques and furnitures for decades. The building is beautiful, make sure to go upstairs and enjoy the ceiling. Everyone needs to add this antique store to their list. Follow them on facebook!


4. Repurposed Glitter Vintage Emporium in Spring Grove

Repurposed Glitter Vintage Emporium is a female run store and the store owner is a wonderful creative. Her items and her store are beautiful. You could visit the store everyday and notice new things. hey have a variety of antiques and painted furniture as well as upcycled decor pieces. We love following them on facebook and instagram.


5. Alden Resale in Alden

Alden Resale is a rural gem. This place is huge and is your go to place to furnish a house. They have every furniture item imaginable, even new mattresses. We highly recommend shopping here when you’re moving into a new home.


6. Magpie Market

The owner of this shop is a gem. She loves the art of collecting. Her items all have a story. This store is in an ideal location, right across the street from a local coffee shop, ice cream shop, and restaurant. We love this store and wish it was open more often! Follow her store on facebook.

  4. Oh, it pains me that I am too far away to visit these places. They look like real treasure hunting grounds, especially foe me as I love cabincore and folk art influenced things. I’d one hundred per cent be making a day of it, antique hunting sandwiched between brunch and afternoon coffee someplace. A beautiful post, much enjoyed from the UK.
