We think Indiana is the best state of a Midwest hike. A mixture of open landscape with sunny views and that refreshing forest shade. Indiana has hiking trails that can be accessed during all 4 seasons. Visiting these parks in the Fall is our favorite time, but this blog post explores the parks in April. We loved these State Parks and know you will too. Enjoy!
1. Turkey Run State Park
Location: Marshall, Indiana
Rose: Variety of hikes with different skill levels
Thorn: Certain sports on the hike can get crowded

Oh wow! Thanks for sharing these amazing hiking venues. I love hiking, and these venues also look amazing and beautiful.
These parks all look like lovely places for a hike in Indiana. My sister lives in Fort Wayne – will certainly take this list with me and perhaps check out a few next time we visit her.
