1. Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy
Rose: 3 parking lots with 3 access points to the trails
Thorn: Since it is a conservancy area, some of the trails might be under construction when you visit because of all the stewardship projects by the volunteers.

2. Big Foot Beach State Park
Rose: Beautiful hike in all seasons, but especially in the winter
Thorn: Pay to park in the state park

3. Lakeshore Path on Lake Geneva
Rose: You can jump on to the shore path by Williams Bay Beach or Fontana Beach
Thorn: The lake path is over 20 miles long, so you have to turn back around if you’re looking for a shorter walk

4. Hildebrand Conservation Area
Rose: Close to the Coffee Mill, so grab a coffee after your hike and enjoy it on the picnic table in the park
Thorn: Only parking on one side of the park, no parking on the west side of the park
